Business Partners

Participating as a corporate partner of the festival creates a unique opportunity for your team to bond in a positive and different environment.

  • We invite you to contribute to our activity through the participation of your employee volunteers at the festival once a year. This will give them a chance for a shared experience outside of work and to experience the satisfaction of face-to-face interaction with people of different ages and areas of interest.
  • During the festival, your business can be presented discreetly through company t-shirts, so visitors don't feel bothered by intrusive advertising, while at the same time remaining positively associated and recognizable as a socially responsible partner.
  • Board games are not only exciting entertainment but play an important role in maintaining and developing skills such as attention retention, analytical thinking, planning, coordination, and the ability to wait for one's turn.
  • In a world where technology keeps us in front of screens, our festival works to create real live socialization and is a wonderful alternative for people who want to spend time together in an active way.
  • We will provide your team with advance access to the games, as well as time for training together with the organizers – so every volunteer from your company will be prepared and motivated to contribute to an unforgettable experience, while at the same time the preparation process will be... to play.

What Volunteers Say About BoardGame Fest

Don't just take our word for it - see what our volunteers have to say

I was a volunteer and – oh miracle – not only did I not die of exhaustion, but I actually enjoyed it! For three days I moved tables, ran with dice, explained to confused players where the different activities were and even almost learned the rules of one game. Next time I'm coming back with a 'Staff Level 2' t-shirt, headlamp and +5 to patience. The coolest chaos I've ever participated in!

I am delighted, both by the organization of this event and by the community of board game fans, who together turned this initiative into a national phenomenon. The festival in Chavdar has become one of the events I look forward to visiting every year.

In the technological age we live in, surrounded by digital devices, lack of time and dynamics, Board Game Fest is a wonderful initiative for a breath of reality. I fully support the idea of engaging all your senses by playing live with people. Let more young people learn about the festival and join in, because we are social beings and this skill is in short supply in the modern world.

We support Board Game Fest Chavdar because it's a place where you can meet old and new friends, immerse yourself in the world of entertainment, whether with a familiar or unfamiliar game. You share your time with cool people while drinking cold beer/coffee and doing awesome things... and you might even win prizes.

I really like the idea of people gathering and playing board games in nature – fresh air, mountains and dice in hand is a combination you don't see often.

The team behind the board game festival and the venue itself are pure magic. I believe events should happen outside of Sofia too – that's one of the main reasons I support the festival as a volunteer.

Life rolled the dice... and brought us together with a unique community of people in love with board games.
We went 'just to see what it's all about', but ended up in the most fun and warm game of all time – with smiles, enthusiasm, strategy, dice and a pinch of madness!
There was no need for a second roll – we joined their team as volunteers without much thought. How can you resist when people burn with passion for what they do and share it with such joy?
We may be a small, but epic team and we believe that if someone does something of value for others – especially when it brings joy, communication and new worlds – they should be helped.
And here – we may not be in a huge galaxy, but the value these people bring to their 'gaming society' is downright legendary.

I support Board Game Fest because it's the only festival of its kind for board games and you can get to know many new games with their creators and you can create friendships 😊

We participate in Board Game Fest because we felt the spirit, positive attitude and dedication of the organizers, who voluntarily want to gather board game enthusiasts and spark interest in more and more people. For us it's a pleasure and honor that for the third year we're part of this 'family' and can get involved with different activities each time.

The annual festival in the village of Chavdar is an event I look forward to every year. There are many things I like, but undoubtedly one of my favorites is that within just two days an exceptional friendly environment is created where people from different generations have fun together playing their favorite games.

Volunteers don't always have time, they just have heart! That's why I'm a volunteer at this wonderful festival, because I have heart for THE GAME - it's the one that manages effortlessly and naturally to connect two strangers, make them smile, get closer and become friends.

Board Game Fest Chavdar is a catalyst for live contact between people. Modern technologies supposedly make us more connected, but actually distance us significantly. Board games are one of the few things thanks to which complete strangers can get to know each other, challenge and communicate as if they've known each other for 10 years. This is the foundation of my participation in the Festival - to embrace communication through technology and devote ourselves to entertainment. To be present here and now. To enjoy 2 days filled with positive experiences, meeting new people, exchanging experiences and above all with experiences. Come join us, it's fun!
