Municipality Chavdar is one of the smallest municipalities in Bulgaria - it consists of only one settlement - Chavdar. However, this does not prevent the village from often coming under the spotlight for its modern and beautiful appearance, as well as for the numerous events that take place there.
The "St. Petka" area, where the festival is held, takes its name from the chapel "St. Petka" and includes:
Entertainment complex "Chapel", a large indoor stage, a shelter with barbecue, places to eat, a camp, a restaurant and a charging station for free charging of electric cars.
Sports and tourist attraction with "Knotlandia"consisting of two climbing walls with a height of 8 and 10 m, an observation tower, a rope garden on two levels and additional facilities for climbing, jumping, hiding, swinging, twisting and rolling among the braided colorful ropes for the youngest visitors.
Archaeological Park "Topolnitsa"which exhibits the remains of an early Neolithic settlement that existed more than 7 000 years ago. For lovers of authentic experiences, there is also the possibility of staying overnight in the Neolithic dwellings, which are a recreation of typical dwellings of the period.
